The audio is slightly delayed. Is there a way to fix the delay?

Most of the delay is introduced by the bluetooth connection from your phone. A possible solution would be to use wired earbuds plugged directly into your phone. This should reduce the delay significantly, almost eliminating it all together. 

What's the difference between the two audio channels?

The first channel “Sanctuary” is intended for people in the Sanctuary. The “Overflow” channel is slightly delayed in order to sync the audio with the video feed in those rooms. Thus, the Sanctuary should have the smallest amount of delay. 

Do I have to keep the app open while listening?

No. Once you have the audio feed playing, you can exit the app or even lock the phone’s screen and the audio should continue to play in the background. With that said, you may experience a second or two of distorted audio when you lock the screen. The audio quality should automatically resolve itself fairly quickly.
